Siobhan Gibney
The driving force behind Gibney's Off-Licence, Siobhan Gibney has been at the heart of the business for more than three decades. Married to Tony Gibney, the off-licence is very much Siobhan's vision, having transformed it into one of Ireland's leading independent wine merchants.
A qualified Champagne Academician, Siobhan's passion for wine has taken her across some of the world's most prestigious wine regions. She has even experienced harvest at renowned estates such as Château Mouton Rothschild, giving her first-hand insight into the craftsmanship behind some of the world's finest wines. Her dedication to quality and customer service continues to shape everything we do.
Ann Moran
With over 30 years of experience in the wine industry, Ann Moran is one of Ireland's most respected wine specialists. Her passion for food and wine pairing began while studying at the Ballymaloe Cookery School, before completing the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Diploma.
Ann has worked alongside Siobhan for over 27 years as Off Licence Manager and is the expert behind our popular Wine Tasting Courses and Corporate Wine Tasting Evenings. Whether you're selecting a bottle for dinner, planning a celebration, or expanding your wine knowledge, Ann is always happy to offer expert advice and personalised recommendations.
Each year, Ann also represents Gibney's at the NOFFLA Gold Star Wine Awards, where she evaluates and judges wines submitted by Irish suppliers through blind tastings.
Darlene Wigham
Originally arriving in Malahide for "just a few months," 23 years later Darlene is still here—and we're delighted she is! Having worked with the Gibney family for over eight years, she has become a valued member of the team and a familiar, friendly face to many of our customers.
A self-confessed lover of rosé wine and bubbles, Darlene enjoys sharing her favourite recommendations and helping customers discover something new. Known for her warm welcome, friendly smile and approachable nature, she's always on hand to make every visit to Gibney's Off-Licence a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
